HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LISTENING SKILLS - JAPANESE LANGUAGE!

1. MUSIC!
It doesn't matter the type of music you like, just listen to it on the go! It's one of the easiest methods to use and it helps you with repetition of words. Of course try to memorize the lyrics properly and it will build a lot of vocabulary!

No importa que tipo de música te gusta, tan solo escuchala! Es uno de los métodos mas fáciles de usar y ayuda con tu repetición de palabras. Claro esta! trata de memorizarte las letras de las canciones y asi construiras mucho vocabulario!

2. MOVIES!
They are a great resource to improve listening (if you are able to use Japanese subs even better). You can get Japanese movies at Netflix or some Japanese dramas online. There are all!!! kinds too!! Some of the best dramas out there (for me):

2. PELÍCULAS!
Son el mejor recurso para mejorar la escucha (si puedes usar subtítulos en japonés aún mejor). Tú puedes ver películas japonesas en Netflix o algunos dramas japoneses por internet. Existen de todo tipo que es lo mejor. Algunos de los mejores dramas para mí son:

3. VIDEOS - NATIVE SPEAKERS!
There are tons of these - funny/serious/all kinds! and the best of all, FREE out in youtube. Just find a channel you might like. If you like cooking, just watch it in Japanese. If you like sports, then do the same!. It will surely be entertaining!
3. VIDEOS - HABLANTES NATIVOS!
Existen muchos de estos - graciosos - de todo tipo! y lo mejor de todo es que son GRATIS en Youtube. Tan solo encuentra un canal que te pueda gustar. Si te gusta cocinar, miralo en japones. Si te gustan los deportes, entonces has de igual manera. De seguro te será entretenido

4. TRANSCRIBING!
Something that helped me a lot to learn Japanese was translating dramas. You can pick small video clips and try to guess what they say - hopefully you get the Japanese closed caption to make sure you get it right!. But make it a game. It can be real rewarding!

Algo que me ayudo a aprender japonés fue traducir dramas. Tu puedes escoger un video corto y tratar de decifrar lo que dicen - obviamente ojala y tengas los subtitulos en japonés para asegurarte que lo lograste bien! Pero has de esto un juego, y te ayudará!

I started using podcasts but mainly for German. They have helped me a lot! Mainly because I listen to the same podcast over and over again and it has improved my listening skills greatly. Every time I listen to it, I tend to understand more... and of course that makes me happy!

Empecé a usar podcasts pero principalmente para alemán. Me han ayudado de gran manera! Principalmente porque lo escucho una y otra vez y me ha ayudado con mi habilidad de escucha. Cada vez que lo escucho, empiezo a entender más... y por supuesto eso me hace feliz!

6. AUDIOBOOKS!
This one is great if you have the book as well. You can follow the audio and the book together. One that I've been using lately is the bible. Of course if you are not religious that might not work, but there are other resources out there! and Youtubers also make audio books!

Este tip es genial, especialmente si tienes el libro. Tu puedes seguir el audio y el libro juntos. Uno que he estado usando ultimamente es la biblia. Claro esta que si no eres religioso no te funcionaria, pero hay mucho recursos en internet! y hay Youtubers que también hacen el audio de los libros.
